Twenty Years Ago Saturday

September 9, 2021September 9, 2021

Frenetically prepping for the next morning’s fashion show, Charles was watching from his office window.

Slug that I am, I was still in bed, watching TV.

In the years since that awful day, the threat of terrorism has shifted, dramatically amped up by the former president.

The most serious threat is now from within, The Guardian reports.

“No man has done more to destroy the dignity of the Presidency,” writes a friend who forwarded this news of the former president’s plans for the twentieth anniversary of 9/11.  (He will be calling a boxing match at a casino.)

Another friend on the list forwarded this piece he had written in 2011 that touched on Mike Tyson, among other things.

Have a great day.
