I don’t know where I was, either, but if you click here, you can be in London’s Royal Albert Hall listening to a 26-year-old Joni Mitchell and a 22-year-old James Taylor for 74 wonderful minutes. One of my favorites forever has been “The Circle Game” (at the 40-minute mark). But hearing her lead-in to why she wrote it (for Neil Young) — and then reading the lyrics — makes it all new and even better. And now I’m reading more lyrics on her amazing website.
