I may not find time to read the book . . . Republican Gomorrah: Inside the Movement that Shattered the Party (I suffer the curse of the slow reader) . . . but this interview transcript is completely fascinating – mainly, for the backround we didn’t know on the base of today’s Republican Party, and its origins (but also for the number of times the author can insert the title of his book, Republican Gomorrah).
This one, Jeffrey Sharlet’s The Family: The Secret Fundamentalism at the Heart of American Power, I am definitely going to read. Get a taste of it here.
