FOX – For Your Weekend Entertainment
I met Rupert Murdoch in 1974 or so, when NEW YORK MAGAZINE editor Clay Felker sent me over to his office to say hello. Clay was filled with enthusiasm for this brash, brilliant young Australian newspaperman. A year or two later, Rupert famously bought NEW YORK and kicked Clay out. Now, 40 years later, he owns more or less everything. Including, of course, FOX.
Here — free — in celebration of its 10th anniversary — is Brave New Films’ documentary, Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch’s War on Journalism.
“Our job,” they write, “is to continue to build other media to counter Fox, and to continue to educate others on how illegitimate they are as a ‘news’ source! So gather Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Bob around the TV and watch the groundbreaking full documentary film here!”
Have a great weekend.
