At least we have a Pope who seems positively Christ-like in his agenda. And a whole lot of electeds who — while less liberal than some would like — are mostly focused on moving the country forward. They are called . . . wait for it . . . Democrats. The Republicans, for their part, decided to scuttle the President’s first term even before he took office — they literally met and decided to do this — and to shut down the government this year just as he was being sworn in for his second.
