Happy Andyday

Well, almost everything has a silver lining, and the great advantage to my no longer getting paid a billion dollars a year to write this column every day the market is open (thank you, Ameritrade, it was great) is that every once in a while — I hope not too often — I get to declare an Andyday.

(The benefit to Ameritrade is that my absence seems almost instantly to have quintupled its stock. A billion dollars a year is quite a drag on a little company.)
