The FireBuzz

December 15, 2021

An embroidered pillow in the window of a New Orleans shop reads: “I’m not Democrat or Republican, I belong to the Cocktail Party.”

In that spirit of nonpartisanship, I today present a drink I recently invented.

The FireBuzz.

Ingredients:

  1. Coca Cola With Coffee/Vanilla . . . which you can buy on Amazon if your supermarket doesn’t have it.
  2. Fireball.
  3. Ice.*

Mix, serve, and sip.

Here’s looking at you, kid.

* A recipe, if you don’t know how to make it.  Plus: why hot water freezes faster than cold — and why it makes clear ice cubes.
